Flat-tires and muggy days
In Zen, there is a teaching that says. "Every event in your life is the happiest event you have ever experienced. Every moment, even if it is the worst thing that has ever happened to you, can be thought of the happiest moment of your life. For it is the ground-work of your happiness."
Day Off
My day started waking up at the usual 6am hour. I got to feed my wonderful daughter Dylan, her bottle, and then change her diaper. I never knew that small moments like this are what parenting are all about.

The first.
Hello there world wide web,
This is my first blog. I have been avoiding the 'online journal' community since I was old enough to realize AOL is one of the devil's children. But, here I am. What kind of crazy adventures are we going to have?
The name: Yes, I used to play World of Warcraft. Yes, I was a warlock. I stopped playing WoW this past year after I found out that my fiance and I were expecting our first child. It was fun while it lasted, and though I still have many good friends still roaming around Azeroth, I do not know if I will ever be able to join them again.
This first blog is really just about getting you to know me, I know it really belongs in my about the author section, but I hate those.
This blog will cover the things that I enjoy. Video games, movies, music, philosophy, writing, etc. It will also cover topics that I do not enjoy, rants about work, my fellow statesmen.
